22 Feb TeraNova Sponsors Golf Tournament Benefitting NDMU’s School of Nursing
TeraNova is sponsoring the Telecom for Change charity golf tournament in Las Vegas on April 9 to benefit the Notre Dame of Maryland School of Nursing, which provides academic support and financial assistance to future nurses and healthcare professionals.
NDMU is a small, non-profit liberal-arts women’s college in Baltimore that seeks to provide additional resources and support to first-generation college students so they can change the economic future of their families. Each year, more students take advantage of the life-changing opportunity the program provides.
“NDMU’s School of Nursing provides assistance to students who work tirelessly not only for themselves but for their greater community by choosing a career that focuses on others,” says Natasha Royer Coons, managing director of TeraNova. “We’re proud to play a small role in supporting their aspirations. As always, the people at Telecom for Change have selected a wonderful cause.”
Telecom for Change is an organization that draws from entrepreneurs and executives in the telecommunications industry to foster ideas, provide mentoring and raise money for charitable causes. TeraNova has been active in the group and a sponsor since its inception, helping to raise funds that have benefitted organizations including Raintree Children and Family Services in New Orleans, Safe Net in Las Vegas, the Sonoma County Children’s Village and the Ashley Lauren Foundation in New Jersey.
The golf tournament will take place at the spectacular Bali Hai Golf Course located on the Las Vegas Strip, and includes lunch, food, drinks and an after party, providing a great opportunity to network with industry colleagues. A range of sponsorships and player packages are available, including an individual golfer option. For more information, CLICK HERE.
