10 Feb TeraNova Taps Verizon Veteran as Partner Development Manager
TeraNova has hired Tommi Ellis as the company’s partner development manager. Ms. Ellis, an 18-year Verizon Wireless veteran, will work closely with channel partners to help them grow a mobility practice within their own organizations by leveraging TeraNova resources and expertise.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Tommi to our team,” says Natasha Royer Coons, managing director of TeraNova. “She has trained and coached executives on wireless products and plans for years so she has unique insight on how channel partners can deliver value to enterprises with corporate mobile plans. They will really benefit from having her at their side.”
TeraNova is an award-winning enterprise mobility management company that helps clients evaluate, implement, optimize and manage wireless solutions including IoT applications. TeraNova frequently teams with channel partners – technology distributors, resellers, integrators, agents and other consultants – to optimize their clients’ wireless plans and provide mobile TEM as well as helpdesk services.
Channel partners that are more familiar with selling and implementing wireline solutions can add considerable new revenues by leveraging and even leading with mobility products. That is where Ellis will be particularly helpful.
“I’m so pleased to join the team at TeraNova because I’ve seen what a difference they make for businesses that utilize wireless technology,” says Ellis. “My job will be to leverage that expertise to the benefit of our channel partners and their clients. I’m looking forward to helping them identify wireless opportunities and coaching them on how to engage current and prospective clients.”
TeraNova serves companies with 300 to 10,000 wireless devices. In most cases, their IT and other technical support personnel are too busy to efficiently manage mobile solutions, much less learn the complexities involved. The company offers fast, best-in-class audits; speed to implementation (new solutions are usually up and running in less than one week); standard and ad-hoc reporting and unparalleled insight and recommendations, according to Ellis.
“TeraNova’s audit and optimization capabilities save many clients hundreds of thousands of dollars annually,” adds Ellis. “But that is usually just the beginning. Often times, savings from the initial audit leads to the client contracting for ongoing TEM and helpdesk services, where further savings are realized over time. And all of the above is commissionable for channel partners, even if they just make the referral. There are huge opportunities out there. I can’t wait to work with our partners to make the most of them!”
